Rabbi Yisrael Meir Lau
Rabbi Lau was born in Piotrkow, Poland in 1937. He is one of the youngest survivors of Buchenwald concentration camp. He is descended from a 1000 year unbroken chain of Rabbis. He served as Chief Rabbi of Israel and is the Chairman of Yad Vashem.
