The movie can be viewed at any time between Monday, January 24 and noon on Sunday, February 6. On Sunday February 6, 2022 at noon, Am Yisrael Chai Atlanta is hosting a panel discussion and Q&A session with moderator Nadia Bilchik, director Jordy Sank, and Ella Blumenthal.

If you have questions you would like to pose to the panel, please fill out the form below and submit it by noon on Sunday, February 6. During the panel discussion, attendees will also have the opportunity to pose questions to the panelists via the Zoom chat.

Sponsors and donors, at any level, will receive an email Monday, January 24 with a link and password to watch the movie.

The panel discussion will be live on Zoom Sunday, February 6 at 12:00 PM Noon EST, when the panelists will take live questions from participants via Zoom chat (sponsors and donors, at any level, will receive connection info by email). A recording of the Zoom panel will be available on our Faith and Fortitude site following the discussion.

Meet the Director

Jordy Sank

Jordy Sank is a director with a passion for storytelling and filmmaking, with a vision to create content that evokes truth, meaning and emotion. His student film, “The Locket”, was nominated for a SAFTA for best student film in 2017, and was screened at various local and international festivals.

Jordy's first feature documentary, “I Am Here”, immortalizes the memoirs of holocaust survivor Ella Blumenthal. Having grown up alongside Ella, listening to her heart-wrenching stories of perseverance, resilience and strength, he was inspired to embark on this passion project, which had been a dream of his for over 5 years. The documentary was released in 2021.
