ELLY GOTZ was born in 1928, in Kaunas, Lithuania. After the war, his family lived in a Displaced Persons camp for two years before immigrating to Norway and then Zimbabwe. Elly graduated from the University of the Witwatersrand with a Bachelor of Science in Engineering degree. He married in 1958 and immigrated to Toronto in 1964. In Toronto, Elly achieved his lifelong dream of becoming a pilot. In 2017, at 89, he fulfilled another aeronautical dream by going skydiving. Elly has educated thousands of students and participated numerous times in the March of Remembrance and Hope.

SILVIA FOTI is a devout Catholic who discovered that her grandfather – who was considered a war hero in Lithuania, was complicit in the murder of Lithuanian Jews. Silvia is the author of Storm in the Land of Rain, a journalist, and a Nobel Peace Prize nominee (2023). GRANT GOCHIN is a South African born Jew who lost more than 100 members of his family in Lithuania. He is a philanthropist, author, journalist, politician and activist. He is the Honorary Consul to the Republic of Togo, and the Vice Dean of the Los Angeles Consular Corps.
